Lunch Robot: Lil Wayne, Steven Tyler, Kim Kardashian

Lil Wayne releases Green and Yellow track, Steven Tyler’s apology airs and Kim Kardashian stuck in the middle of Halle Berry battle.

Steven Tyler’s apology aired last night on “American Idol” and it seems to be a bit ridiculous. Lil Wayne releases Green and Yellow track in honor of the Green Bay Packers’ trip to the Super Bowl. Kim Kardashian finds herself stuck in the middle of the Halle Berry – Gabriel Aubry custody battle. steven tyler american idol apology

Last night on the American Idol Austin, Texas auditions, FOX producers issued a special Steven Tyler apology. Evidently somebody didn’t like the F-Bomb that Tyler dropped last week so they decided to apologize for his “outrageous behavior.” Give me a break; you hired a rock star to be a judge not a catholic school boy. I am pretty sure Steven Tyler is single-handedly saving your ratings right now so you should all back off. Granted his comments to underage girls are a little creepy but the dude is pretty damn funny. Tune in tonight to watch the American Idol 2011 San Francisco auditions at 8|7c on FOX.

Rapper Lil Wayne has released the track Green and Yellow to promote his NFL team, the Green Bay Packers. Fellow hip hop artist, Wiz Khalifa has already released Black and Yellow which represents the Pittsburgh Steelers so it was only right that Weezy respond. While Khalifa’s track has become a huge hit, Weezy’s new remix is pretty damn funny. As we gear up for the 2011 Super Bowl XLV on Sunday (Steelers – Packers) we get to enjoy two rappers going at it off the field.

Last but not least are Kim Kardashian and her role in a bitter custody battle. If you remember a while back, Kim K was dating Gabriel Aubry for a short while. It turns out that Aubry’s ex, Halle Berry was not happy at all with their relationship. She claims it wasn’t Kim K she hated; it was the media attention she received. Halle did not want her daughter Nahla exposed to all the cameras when she was with her dad and Kim Kardashian. Nice move Halle Berry, play the “it was for my kids safety” card…just admit you were fuming with jealousy. Right now Halle and Gabriel are in a nasty custody battle for Nahla and Kim K’s name has just been brought up. Way to go Kim, maybe you should screen who you date a little better. steven tyler american idol apology

‘American Idol’ delivers ‘apology,’ scores 25 million viewers

Ryan Seacrest teased that “American Idol” had a big apology about Steven Tyler’s “outrageous” behavior. Viewers didn’t seem to mind. The Fox singing contest drew 25.1 million viewers and overwhelmed everything else in broadcast television Wednesday night. Fox won the night with an average 17.2 million viewers, according to updated ratings released this afternoon. Fox easily won the 18-to-49 age grou; NBC was a distant second.

Two repeats of ABC’s “The Middle’ averaged 6.7 million. Paula Abdul was no match for her former show; her current “Live to Dance” on CBS died with 4.8 million viewers.

At 9, CBS offered a “Criminal Minds” rerun, which still pulled in 9.7 million. Fox’s “Human Target” scored with 9.2 million. ABC offered reruns of ‘Modern Family” (9.2 million) and “Cougar Town” (6.5 million).
At 10, Selleck was tops with those 11.3 million viewers on CBS. “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” arrested 8.8 million for NBC and placed first with the 18-to-49 age group. In Orlando, “Idol” was the top show with nearly 276,000 viewers. The other most-watched shows were “Blue Bloods” with 185,100, “Human Target” with 152,300, “Modern Family” with 144,800 and “Criminal Minds” with 130,800.

'American Idol' Steven Tyler apology: Nigel Lythgoe laments 'lack of humor' over Fox show joke

The "American Idol" apology for Steven Tyler Wednesday night left fans asking if it was a joke or not, which made the producer of the show laugh more than the mock mea culpa. steven tyler american idol apology

Fox issued the apology for the judge’s "outrageous behavior” before the Austin, Tex., auditions kicked off.

Then a scene from last week was shown in which Tyler made fun of a contestant named Jack Muck, whose name, Tyler joked, rhymed with an expletive -- not "Duck" as the kid suggested.
"Hey you guys, don't take things too seriously, especially my shows. Smile or 'Go **** a duck' "

Host Ryan Seacrest teased the “outrageous” apology on his radio show, his Twitter account and his website on Wednesday, causing critics to suggest it was simply a ploy to get the show’s numbers up.

Seacrest mentioned the apology as early as Tuesday on his Twitter account.

"At the idol working on the LA episode that you will see thursday," he tweeted. "Tomorrow is austin. Make sure u watch the producers apology at the top :)"

Tyler has been the cause of much controversy, most notably for flirting with a 16-year-old contestant named Victoria Huggins.
According to Billboard.com, "I don't Want to Miss a Thing" entered the Billboard digital charts for the first time at No. 54 after he sang an impromptu duet with contestant Lauren Alaina last month. steven tyler american idol apology

Stephen Tyler and Jennifer Lopez: Self-Promotion 'Idol'

If you have even a passing interest in the topic of , then you should take a look at the following information. This enlightening article presents some of the latest news on the subject of .

If you don't have accurate details regarding , then you might make a bad choice on the subject. Don't let that happen: keep reading.

Season 10 of the highest rated show in the country, American Idol, will be airing tonight at 8/7c on Fox. Judge Randy Jackson refers to this season as American Idol-The Remix because of the changes the show has undergone. New judges Steven Tyler from Aerosmith and Jennifer Lopez have taken their roles on this show to better promote themselves.

Tyler guest-starred on Howard Stern’s radio show this morning and spoke about the new season of Idol, but also took the opportunity to discuss his personal life and plans for Aerosmith. Tyler states that by participating on the panel of judges, he hopes to discover the next Janis Joplin.

Also, Jennifer Lopez guest-starred on Ryan Seacrest’s West Coast radio show this morning. Deciding to take the self-promotion route, J-Lo used this opportunity to promote her new single featuring Pitbull, entitled "On the Floor," which is going to be released at some point during the season.

Teens get the big 'American Idol' push

The following article presents the very latest information on . If you have a particular interest in , then this informative article is required reading.

The information about presented here will do one of two things: either it will reinforce what you know about or it will teach you something new. Both are good outcomes.

The teens are getting a big push this season, as we figured they would. Some, like Kenzie Palmer and Robbie Rosen, have impressive voices.

Victoria Huggins, on the other hand, has a Southern accent that makes Miley Cyrus sound refined. And "perky" doesn't even start to describe the 16-year-old from Lumberton, N.C. She sings the Gladys Knight hit Midnight Train to Georgia, but it's pure pageant. "I'm just ready to be the 2011 American Idol," she tells the judges. "This is my opportunity." And it is -- but it's not for her voice. She gets by on her personality and a "Yo, yo, dawg." In Hollywood, though, she'll be cannon fodder.

I'm beginning to see why the Hollywood Week group was so large this year (a reported 325). This group of judges are a much softer touch than previous crews. They're much more likely to put somebody through on the strength of their personalities. Simon would have shut 75% of those people down.

The next singer is 16-year-old a war refugee from Kosovo whose father won a green-card lottery to emigrate to the United States. So her family knows all about the feeling of getting the "golden ticket." Now they know it twice.

It never hurts to be well-informed with the latest on . Compare what you've learned here to future articles so that you can stay alert to changes in the area of .

American Idol Premiere Episode Review Episode 1-1 Contenders vs. Pretenders

Have you ever wondered if what you know about is accurate? Consider the following paragraphs and compare what you know to the latest info on .

Is everything making sense so far? If not, I'm sure that with just a little more reading, all the facts will fall into place.

The first episode of American Idol has come and gone and while Steven Tyler and J-Lo are drawing relatively good reviews, it’s time to separate the contenders from the pretenders.

CONTENDERS

- Rachel Zevita was okay and certainly improved from the last time we saw her doing the opera. The fact that J-Lo remembered her was probably staged, but if it was, it means she will do well.

- Kenzie Palmer did a great job and I was STUNNED that she was only 15. Unreal.

- Another shocker was J-Lo superfan, Tiffany Rios (the girl with metallic stars pasted to her bra), but her second song ‘I’m Your Lady’ was spectacular. Not sure why they decided to use her for the Jersey Shore parody but her voice seriously made me forget it.

- The Ms. America-In-Training Victoria Huggins was sweet but I think she will get annoying real fast. That being said, a solid audition.

- My favorite of the night was Kosovo’s Melinda Ademi. Good story, great voice. All Idol.

- The sob stories got to be a bit much but I guess some filler is necessary to fill up a two-hour show. Brielle Von Hugel was the daughter of the dad with throat cancer, but she did a good audition and certainly it was good enough to get to Hollywood.

- Travis Orlando, 16, closed out the show and had another sad story about being homeless. He did well, but I definitely need to hear him sing again before I give him anymore praise.

PRETENDERS

- One of the worst of the night was Chris Cordeiro. He was the boy-scout. He was also terrible.

- Michael Perotto was HILARIOUSLY bad with her cover of “Proud Mary.” Classic.

- I absolutely HATED the Liza Minnelli wannabe, Ashley Sullivan. Thought she was annoying, abrasive, odd and begging for a golden ticket grated on me. This isn’t Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory and you ain’t Charlie.

- LOVED Yoji (Pop) Asano, 25, version of Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the U.S.A.” It was probably the highlight of the show.

Take time to consider the points presented above. What you learn may help you overcome your hesitation to take action.

'American Idol' Contestant Alex Lambert Isn't Homeless After All

When most people think of , what comes to mind is usually basic information that's not particularly interesting or beneficial. But there's a lot more to than just the basics.

Hopefully the information presented so far has been applicable. You might also want to consider the following:

Despite causing hysteria on Twitter detailing a hard knock life to his 18,000 followers, former 'American Idol' contestant Alex Lambert is not sleeping next to garbage cans. While Lambert began to step away from the controversial tweets, his rep insisted there's no truth to the rumor whatsoever, Entertainment Weekly reports.

"He's not homeless," Lambert's rep told EW. "I don't know where that came from."

As your knowledge about continues to grow, you will begin to see how fits into the overall scheme of things. Knowing how something relates to the rest of the world is important too.
